1. Agreement & Acceptance
These Terms & Conditions govern the hiring of inflatables, interactive carnival games, staging, sound systems, and associated entertainment attractions provided by Funzy Global Sdn. Bhd. (trading as Funzy Events).
By confirming an official quotation, issuing a Purchase Order (PO), paying a booking deposit, or allowing our equipment onto your event premises, the client ("Hirer") agrees to be legally bound by these terms.
2. Quotations, Bookings & Payment Terms
- Quotation Validity: Official quotations issued by Funzy Events are valid for 14 calendar days from the date of issuance, subject to equipment availability at the time of deposit payment.
- Booking Deposit: A deposit of 50% of the total rental value is required to formally lock in requested attractions, logistics transport, and operational crew for your specified date.
- Balance Payment: The remaining 50% balance must be settled prior to event commencement or immediately upon completion of equipment installation on site, unless alternative credit terms have been pre-approved in writing for corporate/governmental accounts.
- Accepted Payment Methods: Direct bank transfer (instant transfer), company cheque (cleared before deployment), and DuitNow corporate QR.
3. Venue, Space & Access Requirements
To ensure timely and safe installation, the Hirer is responsible for providing:
- Adequate Clear Space: The setup area must match or exceed the dimensions specified on each product listing, plus a mandatory clearance buffer of at least 1.5 to 2 metres around the perimeter for anchor tethers and blower positioning.
- Surface Conditions: Ground must be clean, reasonably level, and free of rocks, sharp debris, animal waste, and overhead electrical lines or tree branches. Acceptable surfaces include natural grass (stake anchoring) and flat paved surfaces / indoor halls (heavy sandbag anchoring).
- Ingress & Egress Clearance: Commercial inflatables are heavy, bulky units. The Hirer must ensure clear pathways (minimum gate width of 1.2m, no steep unassisted staircases, and accessible loading bays) from the delivery vehicle to the setup point.
4. Electrical Power Supply Logistics
- Designated Plug Points: Each inflatable blower requires an uninterrupted electrical connection (standard Malaysian 13A wall socket point) situated within 25 metres of the attraction footprint.
- Circuit Independence: High-powered industrial blowers (1.5HP to 2.0HP) must not share circuit breakers with heavy catering equipment, audio amplifiers, or coffee machines to prevent tripping during event operations.
- Generator Option: Where venue power is inaccessible or insufficient, industrial mobile power generators can be arranged through Funzy Events with advance notice.
5. Setup Buffer & Crew Operations
Unless otherwise agreed in your official proposal, Funzy operational crews require a minimum buffer of 2 hours prior to the official event start time to position, anchor, inflate, clean, and safety-certify all attractions. Teardown commences promptly at the agreed event conclusion time.
6. Weather Protocol & Outdoor Operations
The safety of event attendees and participants is our highest priority. In the event of adverse weather:
- Rain & Thunderstorms: Inflatables and electrical blower blowouts must be powered off during active heavy rainfall, severe lightning, or thunderstorms to prevent electrical hazard and slipping accidents.
- High Winds: Commercial inflatables must cease operation if wind speeds exceed 38 km/h (Beaufort Scale Force 5) as stipulated by international inflatable safety guidelines.
- Contingency Planning: For outdoor events, the Hirer is encouraged to secure an indoor hall backup. If weather causes temporary downtime during the event, rental charges remain applicable as equipment and crew remain committed on site.
7. Safety Rules & User Conduct
While on or near Funzy attractions, attendees must adhere strictly to the following rules:
- Supervision: An appointed adult or Funzy safety marshal must supervise the attraction continuously during operation.
- Prohibited Items: No shoes, eyeglasses, jewelry, buckles, keys, or sharp objects may be taken onto inflatables. No food, drinks, chewing gum, party poppers, or silly string are permitted inside any attraction.
- Capacity & Sizing: Users must be grouped by comparable age and height to prevent collisions. Maximum participant limits posted on the unit must be strictly respected.
8. Equipment Care & Hirer Liability
The Hirer is responsible for exercising reasonable care over the hired equipment while in their possession. The Hirer shall be held financially liable for the cost of repair or replacement arising from intentional damage, vandalism, reckless misuse, burns, chemical staining, or theft of accessories. Normal wear and tear resulting from proper, supervised usage is excluded from liability.
9. Cancellation & Postponement Policy
- Postponement: Notice of date postponement provided at least 7 calendar days before the event allows the 50% deposit to be transferred to a new available date within 6 months.
- Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled setup time forfeit the 50% deposit to cover warehouse pre-packing, scheduled vehicle routing, and reserved crew allocation.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of Malaysia, and any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
